Absolutely Horrible Experience – Do Not Recommend. We had a terrible stay at this motel. The first night was a nightmare — two couples were making loud, disruptive noises right next to our room from 1 AM until 3 AM. I called the front desk, but they were unhelpful. They claimed they had already warned them and couldn’t even confirm which room the noise was coming from. Nothing changed — we were left wide awake for hours. The next morning, I voiced my concerns and told them how unacceptable this was. The woman at the front desk said she would refund one night for the inconvenience. However, when I checked out, the man at the desk seemed completely unaware of any refund. On top of that, I asked about my security deposit, and — as usual — I was told it would take 3 to 5 business days. I calle

I was in Huntington Beach on business, not pleasure, so I wasn't looking for a luxurious hotel or to be on the sand, just a nice, cost-effective place to stay for two nights. I found this motel to fill the bill just fine--the price was quite quite low, it was located at a kind of crossroads, on Beach Boulevard that makes a bee-line from the 405 freeway to the Pacific Coast Highway and the ocean, and on the same block as the diagonal Main Street, so it felt like all of Huntington Beach was easily accessible. Despite being on a "main drag", I felt that the room was very quiet.||Every reference calls this motel "Starlight Inn", except the sign in front that says "Rodeway Inn". I can only guess that maybe Rodeway bought the motel, but the transition to the new name is proceeding slowly. My

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The room I was given looked nothing like the photos online — it was outdated, smaller, and not well maintained. To make things worse, the front desk staff were incredibly rude. The woman at check-in had a bad attitude and was not helpful at all. When I tried to raise my concerns, a man from the staff actually yelled at me, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Be very careful — they kept my deposit and never gave it back. I contacted them multiple times, and they just ignored me. It feels like a scam. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t. You’ll waste your money and be treated terribly. To top it all off, I found bugs in the bed, which was disgusting and made me feel completely unsafe staying there. I would never come

ZERO stars. I’ve never been treated so horribly and can’t believe this place is still running. I’ve never been screamed at before as a customer. Absolutely awful. When we checked in and got to our room, it hadn’t even been cleaned—disgusting sheets, used towels on the floor, and trash still in the bins. We went to the front desk, and the lady was incredibly rude and dismissive. She begrudgingly offered us a free night for the trouble, which we appreciated at the time. But when we came back to the hotel for the second night, we found out she had moved all of our belongings out of the room and locked us out. Our things were just sitting in the office, and she claimed we were supposed to check out—despite her promising us the extra night. She then proceeded to yell at me like it was my fault

For a run of the mill motel... it is super clean, and you can tell it has been modernized and upgraded. The only things i can say bad about the room itself are there is no bath option for the little ones, only the shower runs, and the battery cover from the remote was missing.
