Surf City Inn

We enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly any time we seen them. The rooms are a bit noisy during the day time with all the traffic but once it gets dark then it’s not bad at all. You do have to walk down the street a bit to get to the traffic walk to get to the beach access but it’s not a bad walk at all and beats paying for parking. Plenty to eat around there and we did order pizza too and it was easy to get. Thanks for the hospitality!

This is the worse hotel/motel/inn I have ever stayed at. First I had a brace on my leg, no bottom floors and no elevators at all. No ADA accommodations. We had to put a towel under the door to get rid of SOME extra noise and air. The beds and pillows are the worse I have ever felt. Location all we could hear is cars speeding and honking ALL night long. The only reason I would give it 1 star is that the room was clean enough and the gentleman helped us carry our bags up all the stairs. Assuming because I could not barely walk, but never the less he did. I have stayed at a Motel 6 in Oakland, CA better than this.

We stayed there for only two nights and as other comments have stated yes the floors were not cleaned regularly. However worst for me was in my 326. A nail head was sticking out of the floor. You can see in the photo it's just sticking out. It was located just as the entryway Hall transitioned into the bedroom area. You can kind of see in the photo. The bed was a little on the firm side but it was still soft enough for me to sleep as a side sleeper. The place was a little noisy at certain times. The shower nozzle coming out of the ceiling was a little weird. I had never seen that in a place before. It's not a deal-breaker but someone might like to know. It was nice close to the beach. There is no elevator and rooms are only on the second and third floor. So be prepared to climb stairs

Walls were thin could hear every noise from outside to inside. Kept all the doors open so it was cold! Rude staff none of them spoke English! Tried to make an excuse to keep our security deposit! Started arguing with us for no reason! Would not recommend staying here at all. No food options around!

!!SCAMMERS!! My stay at Surf City Inn was extremely disappointing. I was accused of things I absolutely did not do, and the staff treated me with zero respect when I tried to explain myself. They accused me so that they can take my security deposit away! Will never stay here again and i recommend no one else does either!!!
