Great property and great value. We stayed just one night but loved this little place. A really warm welcome from the team, great location and the property itself is just lovely. Really clean and so much thought has been put into the design. Super comfortable bed and pillows with lovely soft duvet too. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I usually stay in Best Westerns, or typical nicer chain hotels for context on our hotel/motel expectations. ||We thought it would be romantic and fun to stay in more of an intimate setting for a weekend away in July in Paso. We came to town while the Mid State Fair was around, so we expected slightly elevated prices, but we paid $1,000 for two nights and we don't feel like the value was there, really at all. Firstly, we could've stayed almost a week in Pismo or any of the surrounding areas for that price... (Best Western down the road was booked up for our stay so can't compare that weekend specifically, but is currently showing $139/night as of 7/21) ||Secondly, on the note that a boutique motel is different than a chain hotel: |We figured it's a cute, romantic motel and wh

Checking in was quick and pleasant. Parking is so, so. If you have a larger vehicle, you might want to get there early. Location is good and you can walk to everything in downtown Paso Robles. The room is overpriced for what you get, but welcome to the Central Coast. If you shop around, you can get better deals still walking distance to downtown Paso Robles. I chose to stay here because I have never stayed here before, but unfortunately it's a one and done. The room was nice and AC was quiet. Our room was a little banged up with scraps on the walls, bed headboard that was partially torn from the wall and squeaked, floor tile in the shower missing, and I collected a handful of long black hair from the bathroom floor, which is definitely not mine. The biggest issue was the noise. The buildin

We recently stayed at the Stables for a long weekend in Paso Robles. It’s a lovely place to stay and is in a great location only being a 10 minute walk to the heart of downtown. Their cute little touches go a long way, providing s’more’s kits to enjoy by the fire. Rooms are a little on the smaller side but cosy and modern. We wouldn’t recommend room 5 as we had a constant noise coming from the storage / boiler room through the night but they did offer to move us once there was availability.

Great location in downtown Paso. Friendly staff, around the clock hot chocolate and tea with coffee in the morning and a light breakfast. Fun fire pits with s'more makings. Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable.
