The Inn at Opolo

Stayed here Valentine's weekend and thought it was quite good. The staff is fantastic, as are the morning breakfasts, daily bottles of wine, and food boards. It was the perfect location for us to launch our daily pairings and drive into Paso for dinners. The only negative aspects of the stay was the the fact our room needed a little updating, and the pizza I had outside the tasting room was not good (at all).

We have been wine club members before the Inn was built (which enhanced the experience). If you have the opportunity to stay, you get a wine tasting welcome at the tasting room (if you arrive b4 closing). At the Inn, you have an appetizer tray and a bottle of Opolo wine each night. We take both up to the hilltop wedding venue to watch the sunset. Breakfast is lovely., and sometimes you meet other guests, and share information regarding restaurants and other experiences. Also, there tends to be a vineyard cat that will hang with you on the balcony/patio area.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, celebrating our 33rd anniversary! We both agree, this was our favorite anniversary so far and will probably make this our annual destination! The staff were all so friendly and the setting is absolutely stunning! The food was wonderful and of course, the wine was outstanding! If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

We have been members at Opolo for many many years and have always wanted to stay at The Inn. We absolutely loved our two nights stay. It was such a charming place to stay, and we felt very welcomed there. The guest kitchen was a favorite of ours. The special coffee machine made killer lattes, and mochas. The breakfast was outstanding right along with the mimosas. The hilltop field at the top of the mountain was perfect for a beautiful sunset! Would highly recommend The Inn at Opolo!

Disappointing experience! Cannot rate the food or breakfast, as we checked out right away despite forfeiting the whole cost for three pre-booked nights. Instead of the expected luxurious and romantic setting, this turned out to be a motel like building without much of a view, a standard size darkish room that lacked charm and felt both dated and a bit depressing. Terrace is shared without privacy and the mattresses on the loungers were dusty. Room was clean though and bathroom is spacious. Access to a small kitchen in the back for food and coffee is provided. An alternative sitting area in the garden is next to the parking. It is difficult for us to understand the stellar ratings and we found the pictures on their website a bit misleading.
