St. Mary Village

A total haven in east glacier. I’m so incredibly happy with our stay here. In a region with really limited options, this is a really fantastic spot with absolutely everything you’d need. Really helpful staff too which helped us navigate road closures with ease. No sweat if you couldn’t get a room at Many Glacier because this is a much more comprehensive site and more cozy stay, with a fireplace in our room and a great view. Nick at the restaurant was SO nice too!

Great location and is basically one of the few lodging options so that’s a plus for this property. Rooms are rustic and have a lodge vibe. Beautiful creek running outside our balcony. The rooms were also very spacious and clean with no bed bugs. (Thank you!). Restaurant was very good. All in all it was a nice experience.

Great location. We stayed in one of the tiny homes, the tiny home in itself was cute and well planned, however, there was no air condition which wasn’t clearly mentioned during reservation. They did provide a stand fan but it wasn’t very effective. The bedding was dirty and had stain marks. We checked in late in the night and were not guided to where our bathroom was and the girl on the reception that night was quite rude and seemed disinterested in talking to let alone helping us. The bathroom is not in the room and we couldn’t find it in the dark initially, we called the front desk to ask for any slippers that could be used to go in and out of the bathroom but were dismissed quite rudely. Overall for the price it did feel expensive however due to the location and their restaurant snow go

We booked the Motel at Saint Mary Village basically because it was the only thing available when I researched reservations, other than spending an exorbitant amount of money for a room. It would've been fine. It is small basic but sufficient.|Unfortunately as we had arrived later in the day, we dropped off our suitcases and proceeded to find someplace to eat dinner. So when we returned and wanted to settle in, we realized that the carpet along the entire wall opposite the bed under the desk was wet. | At that point we were so tired from the day of traveling that we just decided to make do and wear our shoes the entire time in the room.|There apparently must either be a leak somewhere in the roof or who knows in the pipes, but it needs to be addressed. At the East entrance of Glacier Park is this small area with pretty much all you need. There is a lodge and we stayed in a very cute cabin with a stream in the back. A few restaurants, grocery and ice cream place. Park visitors center is right here and this is a designated Dark Sky place if you like stargazing. Amazing sky views with the naked eye but we took normal binoculars and it was amazing.
