St George Inn

I'm writing this having not even checked out yet. We stayed in the express room (only a bunk bed and a bathroom, fridge and microwave 👍) it was VERY small but that was the room we chose. We came for a quick weekend to visit friends and didn't plan on staying in the room much. Initial impression was good! Great check in experience and the lobby area is very cute. However we got to our room and had a few issues. The Bathroom: -Our bathroom was disgusting. (Dirty floors, rusty fixtures) -Mold everywhere in the shower and near it as well -When the shower was on it leaked all over the floor. -broken exhaust fan The Room: -a bit humid -The room just feels tired and unfinished at the same time. -Only room with a window unit AC in the whole hotel and it works good enough but its unbelievably lou

We went to the island for a long weekend and styed at the most charming place they had - in our opinion. General Manager Christopher, was very friendly and offered advice on where to visit and eat while here. The rooms were very clean, had a comfy bed, our own bath, a fridge, and microwave. Every room opened to the wraparound Balcony that had rocking chairs for guests. It was so Gorgeous!

Very accommodating during our vacation stay. Owners are updating the quaint memorable hotel/inn while keeping the old feeling and charm alive. If you’re looking for a “modern hotel” this isn’t your place. If you’re looking for a personal touch and flashback to guest services - this is your place. Each room has a different theme and it’s wonderful. We needed a few extra amenities while we were there for our family size and everyone was so helpful. Can’t say enough about the hospitality and care we received while staying.

We booked a room at St George Inn, disappointing is not the word! Feb 18, 2026, we had the Coral room, there was 3 of us, The pullout couch that was supposed to be a queen, the frame might have been a queen, but the mattress sure wasn’t. It was a full. It had a huge stain right in the middle of it! We had to flip the mattress over in order for me to sleep on it. The sheets that they provided had bleach spots all over it no blankets were provided. No pillows were provided. I went to take a bath and there was no plug for the bathtub. I had to put a washcloth over the drain and hold it with my foot in order to fill up the bathtub. We spent close to $200 for this room! It’s not worth it! We were on the third floor, and of course, there is no elevators, so we were trying to Bring luggage up the

Great location, staff very helpful. Had reservations, but we hadn't thought about stairs. Night clerk kindly let us move to the first floor. Great location, great atmosphere, good accomadations. We'll be back.
