SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Vegas Convention Center

BEWARE..There is NO customer service if you experience a problem. My daughter booked us a 2 night stay through Groupon since she had stayed here previously using Groupon and had no complaints. After the reservation was made I personally called this hotel over a month ago and requested an extra quiet room. Upon arrival we were given a room on the 9th floor and this is what was outside of our window. The fans constantly turned on and off. I immediately went to the front desk and spoke to Terry. I repeatedly asked to be moved to a quieter room and he said he could not do it. I asked for a supervisor and he said he was. I asked for his boss and he responded that person was out of town. The hotel is conveniently located in front of the Westgate and the convention center making it a very short walk which is a major plus. The breakfast is very spartan but adequate anyway. Cleaning could be improved though. There was one day during the stay where the staff totally forgot to clean the room despite my group having the room requested for cleaning. Other than that, the room is quite spacious and can accommodate 4 large persons quite easily.

This is a basic hotel with no frills. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and quiet. Our room was facing the Convention Center and Sphere. There was a free continental breakfast that wasn’t bad. The food options for the buffet included scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. There also was a pancake machine (pretty good pancakes), breads/muffins, etc) and yogurt. The coffee wasn’t good. They only had a “bold” blend. I’m not sure of the brand they used, but it wasn’t great. The staff at the front desk was nice, although there was only one person on each shift. The only annoyances for me giving it 4-stars is that the sink and toilet were very loud, the hand soap fell apart quickly, the shower did have good pressure, but had an uneven flow. Also, the shower door didn’t seal shut properly

My mom and I had a great stay. The hotel and room were clean. The location is great and feels safe. It’s a good option if you want to be a little off the strip and avoid the resort fees but it is still accessible. There is a monorail station right across the street, and you can also walk about 10 minutes to the Deuce bus stop if you want to head to Fremont Street. The breakfast was could have more variety, though. Would stay again.

We liked the Springfield Suites very much. Our room was large and had a good view of the Sphere. The Sphere view was continuous entertainment for us for four days. The location was pretty good. It was not in a noisy part of town and we used the monorail a few times. There are not a lot restaurants in that neighborhood within walking distance. We did walk to the Sphere and a Heart concert one block away at the FountainBlue. The included breakfast was a bit better than average, but not exceptional. Still it was very good to have breakfast included. ALL the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped with a frig and microwave. For us it was a plus that there was no attached casino.
