SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kingman Route 66

This hotel is mid at best. Booked last minute over a holiday weekend. Rooms were spacious. Plenty of beds for a family of four. Sheets weren’t the softest, but we stayed warm. Room was dark. It’s an older hotel so you can hear every flush, door close, and foot steps. Front desk and staff were attentive and efficient. Breakfast was standard. If you need a place to crash overnight on a long trip, this will work. If you are looking for a memorable hotel experience, you might need to temper your expectations.

Great customer service!!! The young lady working Saturday (7/5) evening when we checked in was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, very comfortable, etc. We were a bit concerned about the noise traveling through the hotel as there was a loud group of kids in the pool, but it was not an issue at all. |The breakfast was so, so but I believe that was primarily due to possibly a staffing shortage and a large, sloppy group that ate right before we made it downstairs Sunday morning. They made quite a mess, never bothered to clean up at all and seemed to intentionally make as much mess as possible (seemed to be a school or church group of some sort as the group were young adults 17-20 YO). |I realized after we left that I had mistakenly left my cell phone in our room. Terrible room. Items needed to be repaired. Bathroom was divided. Room with toilet had a very small sink. There was no place to hang a hand towel. The other room with the shower was also small. We only stayed one night, but the morning before we left, we discovered black stuff on the bathroom mirror where the shower was. The shower door and wall needed to be cleaned! Staff was not friendly. Breakfast was subpar! Would not recommend staying here.

I stayed at the SpringHill Suites while in Kingman to check out some new model homes. The suites are laid out differently than most suites I have stayed at before. There was a separate toilet room from the shower with it's own little sing. Also the suite has a partition, not a wall and door to separate the bedroom from the sit down area. Okay for me, but if you have kids or family trying to sleep on the beds, the noise and light will easily disturb them. It's nice rhey offer a breakfast, but theel eggs & sausage patties looked unappetizing, instead I elected for a small bagel, some fruit and juice which were fine.

This was our first experience staying at Springhill Suites and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and they were well laid out with a large sitting area. We got a lot of use out of the couch and desk since we stayed there for 5 days. The complimentary breakfast bar was very good and the staff throughout the hotel was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.
