SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Elmhurst/Oakbrook Area

It started off on a bad note. I called the hotel to check about the price match the said NO then I asked them. What’s your price for today| without saying anything they transferred me through IVR. |After reaching the hotel, I was given a room which had a really strong pet smell. Though the Night front desk agent was good, he helped me.||In fact, if you talk about the breakfast, i asked the front desk person about what the breakfast he wasnt aware about it and being Marriott i had hight hopes about the breakfast as i m a breakfast person it’s really limited to only two options, scramble egg and buttermilk biscuits also some oatmeal.|In fruits, they only had apples no breads, no different type of muffins, no croissants. Totally met my expectations, and then some! We walked in to our room and it was more spacious than it looked in the website's photos, and it was CLEAN (huge plus)! My kids went swimming and the water was unexpectedly, enjoyably warm. And there was a decent selection of food choices for the complimentary breakfast. Will definitely book again in the future!

The staff was all wonderful. Everyone was veey friendly and had great conversation. They constantly asked if everything was okay and were genuine about it. The size of the suite was great. The beds were only full sized which worked for us because it was myself and 2 kids. They only had one 32 inch TV for such a big suite but we were their to watch TV so we didn't mind. We had the pool to ourselves which we loved. It was right off the expressway so it was easy for us to get to the city. I would definitely stay again.

Great hotel. Fairly close to the airport (ORD). Rooms are spacious and noticeably quiet. Showers were hot and water pressure was good. The only complaint is the tub space and curtain. It was a bit unstable to stand under the shower head without the curtain wrapping you up. Breakfast as soon as-so but had plenty of options. Parking was sufficient.

Stayed here for four nights during the week and the staff and service were amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful. It was great seeing the whole staff work together to make their guests feel comfortable. Especially Heather! She was a freaking rockstar at breakfast every morning. Her positive energy was so appreciated! Rooms were spacious and accomodating, with a microwave and fridge, and even a small living room area. Overall it was a very pleasant experience that I will definitely be coming back to next time I’m in the Chicago area!
