Extended Stay America Suites- Chicago - Elmhurst - O'Hare

I was greeted with extended stay residents and staff like I was a long lost old friend. The residents always had dog biscuits and gave my dog treats all the time. It was so sweet. The staff and residents knew her by name by the end of the first day. I felt like it was the kindest most friendly group of people imaginable. I can’t wait to stay there again and be around such kindness.

We've been here almost 6 months and are getting ready to leave this week. During our stay the staff was amazing, the rooms were clean and well maintained & out of all the ESAs we've stayed at across the country this was by far the best.

Trucker here. Needed to do laundry so I can have a shower and jump into some clean clothes. The machines would not work. They wouldn't take payment from card for some reason. Tried all my cards. Already had clothes in the machine with liquid soap. Went to tell the night guy something was wrong. He told me to wait for morning crew. Mind you it was 3: 30 am and morning crew would not be in until 7. Someone took my clothes out of the machine and put theirs in. When I opened the lid there was just standing water and the machine had an error code. So I unplugged it. Waited hours to resolve and no one seemed to care. Bet they did when I unplugged it!!

I stayed for one night and the price they charged is honestly a joke considering what they provide. The hotel is extremely old and run down. The shower was ancient, and they only gave me a single bar of soap. As for breakfast? It's practically non-existent... just a granola bar, and that's it! Everything about this hotel is old. The price should be equivalent to, or even lower than, a Motel 6.

Positive: Location Negative: Room wasn't very clean, bathroom sink wasn't working clogged up, smells in room and hallway from other guests cooking. A lot of marks and dents on furniture and kitchen appliances definitely showing there age!
