SpringHill Suites by Marriott Birmingham Gardendale

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at, with very modern amenities, large spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, welcoming staff and a great breakfast. The only downside is the sliding barn door for the bathroom in the room. You can see through the slot on the side, and the door is made with thick translucent glass, which allows you to see silhouettes of people quite easily, the location of this door in the room is also not very ideal for privacy (right where the T.V would be at in a typical room) which allows for bright light to pour into the bed area, and for people laying on the beds to see the silhouettes quite easily.

Positive: Very clean. Beds were comfortable Negative: Frosted door in bathroom. Wish door was solid so light did not shine through

The room was exceptionally clean and well kept. The front desk (Cece) was pleasant at midnight when we checked in and has a positive attitude and quickly checked us in. The breakfast was hot and clean and the waffles were a special formula better than most of the similar mixes but this was well attended all the items , and there was a huge variety, were well stocked and the HOT fresh coffee was excellent!|The attendants were friendly and spoke to us and created|A Friendly environment for everyone in the dining area. This was very welcome and the front desk staff were exceptionally service minded !|I HIGHLY recommend Spring Hill Suites by Marriott to any travelers!|Thank you thank you thank you!

The hotel was nice. The afternoon/night staff were very helpful. The room was nice however no 1 seen the window power system was down. The shower curtain was about 6on to short this is only due it being rolling shower. The shampoo & bodywash were both almost empty. The evening staff truly seemed like they were willing to go out of their way to help someone staying at the hotel. The only issue I really had was the shampoo being almost non-existent but they were willing to fix it when I let them know. However the breakfast bar was late getting out and then the lady that was in control of it was acting as if it was costing her personally her piece of sausage that was in the container she kept putting two or three pieces in there at a time. One of the best things about this particular facility

Clean hotel, clean rooms, and excellent service! We ordered food from door dash which ended up being delivered without silverware. I called the front desk to ask if silverware was available to pick up and before I could walk out the door, silverware/napkins/plates were being delivered to our room. We will definitely be back
