Springbrook Cottages

We had a site at their campground this weekend to visit my in-laws who have a long term site there.||They only have five campsites, but they are all 50 amp full hookup.||The campsite area is right on Spring Creek, where you can wade or fish for trout.||The location is a three minute or so walk from Bridge Street, the "main drag" through Hot Springs, where there are many places to eat and shop for a variety of goods.||The owners are very easy to deal with - very nice people! And the cost of a site was very reasonable. Compared to recent experience, I would call it inexpensive.

This place is amazing!!! Nestled back in the little town of Hot Springs North Carolina. The owner is very polite and courteous always with a smile. The cottages are perfect for staying and enjoying this little slice of mountain town life. The brook that runs behind the cottages is beautiful and you can fish with release in mind. The French Broad River is just a couple of miles away amazing finishing there. The town of Hot Springs is a nice little country mountain town with lots of history and is a part if the Appalachian trail. A must place to visit and stay here. So come on out to Spring Brook Cottages you will nit be disappointed!!!

In this scenic Appalachian Trail town, these cottages deliver everything that is expected at this price point in an ideal location. They are simply furnished with original hardwood flooring and very comfortable porches on both the front and the back. The cabins overlook a lovely Creek and the nicely landscaped property boasts attractive outbuildings, including a charming gazebo and spacious picnic shelter. The units are large and very clean. Given the budget price, we were more than satisfied with our accommodations.

My wife and I spent our recent anniversary at Springbrook Cottages and had a very pleasant stay. While all the other cottages are duplexes, we booked the Carriage House which is their only single unit. The cottages go back quite a few years, I'm guessing the late '50s/early 60's, and could use a little more updating (there was nothing to hang clothes on in the bedroom, nothing to hang either clothes or towels on in the bathroom, and the tub faucet handles which were clear plastic when new are almost black with age now,) but with what that has already been done, and the fact that overall the cottage was clean, we were very comfortable. We had a great stay at Sprinbrook Cottages! Our room was pleasant, comfortable and included all the amenities. Main street and all the bars and restaurants were within walking distance. We could also easily access the AT and other trails in the area. Carolyn is a very gracious host! Can't wait to come back!
