Dancing Sun Cabins

We've been coming here for 20 years! This is the perfect mountain escape. It's secluded so you have privacy to enjoy the beautiful mountain area. The cabins are well maintained and comfortable. We've used the Moondance cabin mostly. It's smallish, but that's perfect for a couples getaway! You're a nice little joke away from the Appalachian trail! Max patch is a short drive away. Plus the Town of Hot Springs is close by too for a great meal and easy access to some good hikes. I definitely recommend going here if you want a beautiful mountain retreat with your family or that special someone. Also make sure you book on their website to save on charges that you'll get with national booking companies.

We had a lovely New Year stay at Dancing Sun Cabins. This mountain has been such a special place to me and my dear friends for over a decade, and I was so happy to share it with my partner this time. I've spent perhaps a dozen trips here, and truly each one is a soul-soothing adventure. The cabins are clean and well-outfitted for the stay. The property is lovely and wild, mostly untouched apart from the cabins and a few nature-inspired additions like the meditation labryinth, art, and of course the trails. The owners, Tom and Rebecca, are good and precious people if you get the chance to meet them during your stay. Really loved our stay here - the perfect remote getaway in the mountains. It was the perfect pause before our family goes from 2 to 3. The hosts were very responsive and kind!

Perfect weekend away for my husband and I. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet trip to relax. The property is beautiful! We went to the waterfall and loved having the water running in front of our cabin to listen to while we enjoyed the hot tub. There was so much construction still that we got turned around and had to call the owners not once but twice for help. They were so kind and helpful.Turn by turn they got us there The porch had fresh picked flowers. Even artwork by the wife! We will be back. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed at Moondance and words cannot describe the absolute beauty of this place....The mountains, waterfalls, scenery is absolutely unmatched. The cabin was absolutely 💯 perfect. Thank you a million times over. Can't wait to come back. As close to heaven as you can get
