Spark by Hilton Stillwater

Stayed here once in early October and was reasonably satisfied. Had a second trip scheduled in late October but my event was cancelled. With 2 weeks advanced notice I requested a refund since this was through no fault of mine. The hotel said they couldn't refund because it was booked through a third party (Expedia). I reached out to Expedia and they said it was the hotel's choice. I requested a call from the owner but never received one. Be very careful when booking that you don't choose the no refund option. I think it's poor business practice. Another hotel I booked through Expedia with the same policy had no problem issuing a refund. I stayed at this hotel for my daughter's graduation. It is a new hotel. Everything looks new and the hotel is very clean. The front desk staff were friendly. Breakfast is not a full breakfast like some other hotels, but had bagels/cream cheese, muffins, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt with toppings, oatmeal with toppings, orange juice, apple juice, and milk. They have coffee, hot chocolate, and maybe tea near the front desk. My room was very clean. No bed bugs in room 315. My only complaint is that there was no conditioner or body lotion. There was shower gel and shampoo. The shampoo made my hair very dry and tangled. Luckily I had conditioner and lotion. The location is good. Right behind Chipotle and close to other food places such as McAllister's, Panera, Chick-fil-A, and Cane's.

Fairly modern. Rooms are nice. Staff has been pleasant and helpful. Located within minutes of just about everything in Stillwater. The complementary breakfast is very basic though; no hot foods. Free Folgers coffee 24/7 for guests.

It was and ok stay. The only thing I didn't like was having to pay 50$ for a security deposit, and the bagel bar was wack. i think they should serve breakfast for the price you have to pay.

Room was super small for the price. If I could add a Pic, the outdoor pool is filled in with cement. Staff was kinda slow but seemed to be dealing with problems concerning other guests.
