Spark by Hilton Biloxi Ocean Springs

The room was dirty. The bathroom and shower were dirty. The toilet had some toilet paper left in it. We stayed out of necessity while on a long road trip. We were tired and realize Spark isn't a luxury brand, but dang, what a rude surprise. Still the uncleanliness was disappointing. I won't ever stop at this location again. I am not sure if I will ever stay at a Spark, if this is the standard by which the Sparks are maintained.

This was a Best Western, Hilton purchased a year ago. The rooms need to be updated. It is very damp and they have humidifiers running. The caulking in bathroom was a horrible job around bathtub. So it is an older hotel. If you want nice and new stay somewhere else.

1st time to this brand of Hilton. Was pretty modern with the updated rooms and lobby. Room was good and cold when I checked in. Had to turn it up a little bit. Only recommendation I would have would be to do a thorough walk of the property and check for any imperfections in the paint in either the hallways or the rooms. Room 421 has blue paint from the door frame that got white wall in the inside of the room above door. Minor - but a touch up needed.

Positive: The staff was courteous and engaging, making sure that they were there to help. Negative: No microwave oven in the room but we were good.

Believe the reviews. They’re true. Bathroom door is always locked. I had to pick the lock to get in and realized it happens every time the door shuts (room 223). One garbage can total(in the bathroom). Sink in the bedroom didn’t bother me much but it’s weird. Walls are very thin and you can hear everything. There’s a bit of mold in the sink overflow holes. The person working the front was nice. The room was clean. Coffee is coffee. Doable but beware.
