Southern Star Inn Murfreesboro

I wanted to give ZERO STARS but I couldn't post without a star I booked for 2 nights. When I arrived the area concerned me a bit but I was still willing to give it a try. The room was not clean not newly renovated. The beds had a futon mattress on a metal frame when sitting or laying( after quite a bit of lysoling) if you b took a deep breath the frame would squeak making for the worst overnight experience I have ever had. I got up in the morning immediately packed my belongs and went to the front desk ( approximately 7am)for a refund for the second night, I could not speak to anyone at the front desk. I rang the bell I called out and nothing! I called and left a message for a call back that was Saturday today is Monday and I've heard nothing back from anyone. DO NOT USE THIS INN!!!!!

The rooms look just like the pictures however the chairs are filth and we had to change the sheets ourselves on one of the beds. The mattress moves; you can’t move on the bed without it making noise; you can hear ever sound (walking, talking). The people over me were up at 5AM making a lot of noise (coughing hacking talking in a foreign language, etc). Best sleeping hours are for 1-5AM. Oh and they offer WiFi that doesn’t work!!

Very clean, needed extra towels only took 10 min., they are very helpful with anything u need and information.I left an article Sunday,they would have sent it but I picked up Tuesday. I definitely will be staying there again. 🤗

The bed had shoeprints all over the walls have visible dirt marks on the door in the bathroom the tv controller is broken and the TV dosent work and the microwave looks like it hasn't bin cleaned since it was bought

Room was dirty and smelled horrible. Lights were missing from the bathroom and the shower curtain was on the floor.
