Southern Skies Chalet

We really enjoyed our stay at Southern Skies Chalet. It’s very close to the city of Helen, but still feels peaceful and tucked away in the country. The two levels were great and gave everyone a little extra space and privacy when we wanted it. There were plenty of things to do, between the arcade games and the hot tub, we were never bored. The kitchen and dining area were also huge, perfect for getting the whole family together for meals. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back again.

The Perfect Mountain Escape! Southern Skies Chalet was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond. They were so kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The chalet itself had absolutely everything we needed, which made our stay so easy and relaxing. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and you could tell it’s cared for with love. This was the perfect mountain getaway peaceful, cozy, and still just minutes from all the great things to do in Helen and Cleveland, GA. Honestly, my only regret is that we didn’t stay a few extra days to soak it all in. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and truly special place hosted by amazing people, Southern Skies Chalet is the one. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an incredible stay at the Chalet just outside of Helen, Georgia—only about a 10-minute drive into town, but far enough out to enjoy peaceful mountain views. The house has everything you could ask for: a hot tub, pool table, arcade games, PlayStation, and tons of space to relax. The fire pit was a favorite spot in the evenings, and the whole setting made for a perfect retreat. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a fun family gathering, this place is a gem in the Georgia mountains. Highly recommend!

Mountain Getaway with Everything You Need! We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property nestled in the Georgia mountains. The cabin was spacious, clean, and had all the comforts of home—including a fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms with their own bathrooms, which made it super convenient for our group. The game room was the real highlight! It felt like a dream come true for anyone who grew up in the '80s and '90s—Ms. Pac-Man, Frogger, Super Mario Bros... the arcade machine had everything! It also had a pool table, karaoke machine, TV/lounge area, and even a second kitchen and office space. Perfect for rainy days or late-night fun. We also made great use of the outdoor space—the hot tub was relaxing and the fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cabin. First off, the view is amazing. The hot tub was so much fun and we were still able to get in even when it was cold outside. Every room is super comfortable and really makes you feel like you’re at home. I love the downstairs space, it’s a great place for the kids to hang out and hop on the mini karaoke machine. Our kids love coming to this place because of the above mentioned amenities. The cute town of Helen is not too far away so it was a nice place to spend an afternoon out and shop. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our Christmas.
