Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The cabin itself was immaculate and clearly very well maintained. We stayed in the Mountain Majesty, and everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The views were truly breathtaking, and one of our favorite parts of the trip was waking up early each morning to watch the sunrise spill over the mountain tops. It was peaceful, stunning, and something we’ll never forget. The owners clearly take great pride in their properties, and it shows in every detail. Absolutely beautiful cabin! We stayed in Gretel’s Haus. We decided to come a day early and had planned on staying in a hotel. One phone call and we discovered the cabin was ready and available and they allowed us to stay that night! This is our 5th trip to Helen. We LOVE this town. This will now be ‘our’ cabin when we come down! Cozy, clean, private. Great communication from the office! They even called to check on us the second day to make sure everything was ok! No leaving messages…they answer the phone every time. We spent our last night here trying to figure out a way to stay longer and avoid having to end our mini vacation 🤣🤣. Highly recommend!! Hands down one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in! Thank you Georgia Mountain Rentals for providing such a great space for our family vacation and adventures! Close to the lake, downtown, hiking, restaurants and wineries, highly recommend Resting On The Ridge!

Always an excellent stay with GMR! Super friendly and responsive staff, fixed an issue with our door lock during early check in. They were there within 5 minutes to reset the lock manually and had it fixed before we had our stuff set down. Clean cabin, nice location and covered parking under it which was a great perk. Right on the river with a large deck and grill, well equipped kitchen and large living room.

I have never left a negative review in my life so it takes a lot for me to say this. The cabins locations was wonderful but for what I paid for three nights that was the only positive. We had trouble with the combination lock on our 2nd day and called and someone was quickly sent out to reprogram. This was very pleasing but the cabin itself was not taken care of. The furniture had stains and the floor was so dirty you could not walk barefoot without your feet being black. We killed a few roaches and then found roach soray on top of the refrigerator so the problem was known. We found a couple of ticks on the couch. There was a note left on the refrigerator with notes how to clean up where it was expressed that we not put out unused towels and linens in the tub with our dirty used ones. This
