Southern Kentucky Distillery

If you are a bourbon fan or enjoy distillery tours this place is a must. They have several products to choose from. Bourbon rye and moonshine. I had more samples here than I have had at other distilleries. The tour price is more than reasonable. Luther was our tour guide and he did a great job and Becky who was behind the bar also did a great job. I will definitely be back to buy their spirits. They earned their 5 stars.

Tony was a perfect tour guide. Really get a great in-depth tour and their history of the business. Becky was an amazing bar tender.

Had a fantastic time at SKD. Luther-our tour guide, Junior-one of the owners, and the whole group that work there were amazing and really made us feel very welcome. Luther was so patient when it came to answering all of our questions on the tour. When it comes to their moonshine, they are very flavor focused, and all were very good. We had a hard time not buying every flavor. We did, however, leave with the Apple, Strawberry Lemonade, Peach, and Blackberry. We also brought home their peanut butter and cinnamon flavored whiskey. What really amazed us was their vodka. It was so smooth going down, and knowing we could not get their brand in our state, bought two bottles. The tour was well done, informative, and gave a great look into the early stages of what could become something truly special. You can really feel the heart and soul being poured into every step of the process. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating an experience that felt personal and authentic. The tasting included several whiskeys and flavored moonshines. While the bourbon and whiskey have only aged for two years—and in my opinion, that’s not quite enough yet—the foundation is promising. What a great little gem in Kentucky. Myself and 5 friends went there on Saturday. We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived until we said goodbye almost 3 hours later. We got to try all the products and got a tour of the entire process. Mike and Luther were so funny, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. We even met Mr Cecil who was equally welcoming. Don’t sleep on this little distillery. It delivers up in a mighty way.
