Unfortunately, this hotel did not match the pictures online. The room was very dirty — the bedding was stained, the pillows were discolored, and the showerhead was rusty and grimy. There was visible dust everywhere, and the walls had questionable stains that looked like someone had been spitting on them. The towels had stains as well, so I ended up using my own. I didn’t use the hotel’s blanket or pillows either — I brought my own because everything just felt unclean. To top it off, there were loud neighbors sitting outside all night, making it hard to get any rest. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the price was reasonable for the area. First, I just want to say a lady at Holiday Inn Express recommended this place because there was a room available and the others in the immediate area were full; and I appreciate the effort. She should never do this again and next time I will travel to Arcadia if everyone else is full. Now about the room at Southern Inn, which we paid $75 per night and stayed 3 nights. There was no tissue in the room to blow your nose, there was no iron or ironing board in the room. When asked if they might have a rollaway bed for my grandson the man said no. This is the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in and I have lived in them all my life growing up there is nowhere for me to plug in my phone by my nightstand the TV volume does not go up loud enough to hear it unless you turn the AC off the fridge does not work good the customer service is awful the man at the front counter refused to bring us more towels when we needed them and on top of that he said he did not know how to give me a refund and refused it this is an awful experience do not come here unless you just want to be miserable

I was like why are you making me check in outside but then I realized that the clerk probably made the inside even colder. Bed was comfortable and also the only piece of furniture in the room. If you need a cheap night and don’t mind being regarded very negatively, go for it I suppose.

Good value for the price. My room the faucet didn't have cold water. Only warm and scalding. Lady at the front desk was rude arrogant entitled Definitely wasn't interested in doing business customer service and making money. Wouldn't answer the phone wouldn't answer questions to busy to get back to her TV show. The mom didn't see much better glared at me the whole time. Entitled family that doesn't want to work be of customer service or help people. Very rude. But other than that the value was decent. I only had to deal with them for a few seconds.
