South Shore Motel

My husband & I so enjoyed our stay - will def be back. German couple were so accommodating and the hotel is dated but very clean, comfortable beds and the view was fabulous from the balcony. You do need to bring your own coffee supplies as well as toiletries and hair dryer but don’t mind for the stay. It was quiet and we stayed over Labor Day weekend and most other guests were on beach so quiet pool time too. Sharon B

First i was afraid of this place a little bit.After i said lets give a try,i was so tired.Upon arrival i got welcomed to their place.The guy at the desk is an expert and next day i met his brother.Both of them are very hard workers.They keep this motel well,they always working on something to make it better.They know they have missings but they working on it.I was amazed about this and i will be back that`s exact.I talked to people who`s coming here since 25 years,they told me,nowhere else and i think the same way.If the 2 brothers running this all will be fine unless forget about it.

This hotel has perfect location. Room size is great. Everything stocked. Rooms are not updated and a musty smell but very clean . Restroom was big enough. great location/on the beach . Price was great. Best of all the customer service was amazing. Made me feel safe and at home. No bugs a plus. Pool was great. Seating around the pool was good.

The place is closed down it has been for at least 2 years. One guy stays there and squats there. It has no water and it's shut down. Out dated and damage from last hurricane. I'm wondering when voulisha County is shutting it down. They need public parking. Pool all messed up in the back roof is a mess. The only good thing overall is the veiw.

Never again! I had 2 rooms for a wedding on the beach, (My son's) the wedding took place right directly on the beach in back of the motel, when the bride got there, she was to use my room to get ready, the husband that owned the place with his wife, screamed at my entire family for being on their property, called them cheap and was just nasty, needless to say this upset the bride very much as my family has ALWAYS stayed here, and recommended the place. His wife was nice, but it was to late. Also, we were there Tuesday thru Sunday, and not one sheet was changed. Just not a good experience!
