South Hills Motel

We paid $91 for a room with barely any heat, it smelled awful and there was no microwave. I've paid way less for way better quality of room.

South Hills is a no-frills quaint budget motel that is safe, clean and affordable. Dedicated motel managers live on site and definitely keep the rooms and parking lot clean on a daily basis. I stayed multiple days and never felt unsafe. There's a full bath with adequate towels, but you'll need to bring your own shampoo & blow dryer. Microwave and fridge are also in-room, and you can walk across the street to 7-11 for coffee or other drinks/snacks. On a bus line, with a grocery store, smoothie shop and a Dollar General within a short walk.

I stayed at South hills motel when my husband was a patient at Jefferson. They were very attentive to my situation because I am a lone woman staying in a motel and really not being familiar with the area other than driving through it on route 51. I felt safe at this motel it was very clean nice rooms just a very nice place to stay and it is economical and if you have a patient at Jefferson then it's just a thrill because you're what a mile and a half to two miles away did not take very long of a drive at all. My only issue was that the refrigerator is not cold and the air conditioner doesn't work. It obviously didn't bother me that much because I stayed here well over three weeks. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

This place is perfect if you are looking for clean, very affordable rooms with free contained parking. The owner and staff take pride in the property and it shows. I was impressed by the flowers, potted herbs and there is even a private vegetable garden in the back.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. If we were to come back this way we would definitely stay there.
