South Fork Resort

We recently stayed at South Fork Resort. We booked here because a friend highly recommended it. I wasn’t so sure about the this place because I read the reviews on Google which were pretty mixed. It turns out that this place is under new ownership/management, and the new owners have really made this place a great spot!!! Rooms are clean, ac was great, and the property was perfect for a family! The fishing pond for kids is perfect for a few casts in the evening. The pool was amazing to cool off in and relax in after a long day of fishing and exploring. We loved the pavilion with the fire pit. It was great that they had corn hole available for us to play. My husband had to work while we were there, and the WiFi was great. He ended up working at the pavilion by the shower house and enjoyed

Camped, it was great. Not to big, not to small, perfect. People are friendly. Great family friendly place, pool, play ground and a fishing pond. General store that has just about anything you need. Shannon and Brent are wonderful, kind people. Highly recommend this place.

I give Southfork a 5/5! Spotless cabin and friendly service. When not boating, the children had a blast at the pool and the playground. After breakfast one morning, we went fishing in the pond. It was the best fishing we have experienced in a while. Better than on Mark Twain Lake! We highly recommend Southfork.

The owner was Very nice Very helpful just incredibly all around nice place! Rooms Clean beds Clean and comfortable! I will Definitely be returning next time hopefully for more than just one day!! Not One bad thing to say about the place!!!!!! Week of 4/15/23 I returned few months later and Again Enjoyed my stay Everything is Clean smells clean and fresh! Bed very comfortable nice comfortable pillows there's extra blankets and 3 pillows on each bed. Just Simply Love this place! Everyone I've met or talked to very helpful very polite!!!!

The owners are such amazing people. Everyone is so nice and the hospitality is top notch. They have food at the convenience store, a pool in the summertime, and are dog friendly. Perfect place if you are planning to fish, hunt, or take your family on a weekend camping trip. Highly recommend!
