Fun Akers Resort and RV Park

What a community Fun Akers’ owners have built. There are several activities/celebrations throughout the season. The people are wonderful. I’ve included photo and video of last years 1st Halloween event. And we are about to celebrate this coming up weekend for the 2nd year. We also have a wonderful fireworks display on Independence Day! The owners celebrate us campers too and hold a customer appreciation party with a live band!! The campers have also raised thousands of dollars for charitable causes. The lot rent did go up after the 1st year but so did everything else! Somethings you can’t put a price on. If you want to be near a boat ramp to enjoy Mark Twain Lake, this is your spot. We discovered this place just a couple of weeks after they opened. We were only looking for a weekend stay, and we are now going on our 3rd year of being a part of this fantastic community. The owners Brian & Karen Davis have built an amazing campground that is still growing. Without a doubt this is by far the nicest campground at the lake.

Such a beautiful campground. Extremely well maintained, owners are truly amazing people, friendly and helpful. A wonderful community of people camping, too. Great place to make your home away from home and make memories with friends and family.

We love our little getaway spot at Fun Akers!!! The owners & community of other campers are welcoming and so friendly!!! We just renewed for our 3rd year and can’t wait to see the progress and hard work that goes into what makes this place so enjoyable. Avid camper that was left disappointed with my experience at Fun Akers. Our family rented a camping lot here for 2 years. Our first year, we were assured prices would not raise when we renewed our contract. They did. The owners notified the campers by posting a very small note on the office door. Since we do not live near the campground or visit it weekly, we did not find out until another camper text us about the yearly rate increase. By this time, it was too late to secure a new camping lot so we chose to renew. The owners promised a pool when we signed our first contract. The pool was never installed and a year later the owners said a pool was not within budget. The owners promised a large pond that we could fish in. The hole was dug, but after two years it still sits empty. T
