South Fork Camps Campground

The Chetco is much needed on those 95°+ days. This location was amazing. We camped right where the south fork meets the Chetco. Very gorgeous out there! We even woke up to a herd of cows all staring at us from across the river haha. No phone reception out there so make sure you handle what you need to before getting close.

Way too busy for us. The campers were packed in like sardines. We drove in and drove back out.

My favorite on the Chetco. Worth going a bit further for a quieter campground. Full access to river for swimming and boating and can even camp right near the water. Watch out for yellow jackets as there are lots of berry bushes

Some of my best memories are here, in fact we are heading there today to camp for the weekend. Perfect swimming spot if you have littles and there usually isn't many others camping near by.

Loved it. Great place to chill.
