South Bay RV Park

This is a beautiful, quiet park with friendly staff. We drove by after hours and needed to dump the septic in our Rv. Janet was extremely courteous and kind and helped us sort it all out. This is a top notch campground. Surprising, as county parks are not always this good! Paved and level sites, full hook up for under $30, nice view of the lake. Bathrooms very clean. Didn't experience bugs to speak of. Road noise back on site 19 was nothing. Not much to do are South Bay and Belle Glade, though. Best shopping and dining is in Clewiston. We'd come back here in a nanosecond if/when we travel this way again.

It's definitely very quiet here the closest town is about 10 to 15 minutes away they're not too expensive have all the hookups washing machines and showers

My wife and I stayed here for 3 1/2 months and it was great. Our spot was a concrete pad overlooking the lake, it included a picnic table and grill. The spot had plenty of room to park my car in front of my RV. Gated entry with code to enter, since it's a state park there are sheriff's driving through daily so it makes you feel more comfortable. The ladies in the office were extremely nice and very helpful. Walmart and other stores are only 15 minutes away. I will definitely stay here again, the price is great and they keep the park very clean..

Made our reservation for 1 month, stayed for 5 months! Never had any issues receiving packages or mail. Most of the time the office will call you when you get a package. Free wifi that works 95% of the time. It will occasionally drop the connection, usually you can reconnect in a minute. Fast enough to stream most internet based apps. Grounds and bathhouses are always well maintained. Caretaker Rene always seems to be on top of everything and is happy to address issues quickly.
