Sonesta Select Las Vegas Summerlin

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Sonesta Select Las Vegas Summerlin on February 23 was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I arrived after 8pm already exhausted and was first given a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and was completely unusable. I had to go back to the front desk and request another room. Unfortunately the second room was no better. The bedding was visibly dirty. The pillowcase had makeup on it and the sheets were stained. I did not feel comfortable getting into the bed at all and ended up sleeping on top of the covers because the bedding clearly had not been properly cleaned. Upon arrival it appears very nice lobby area clean and fairly new. Staff at desk friendly. Got our room keys and down hill from there. No coffee no coffee cups had to go to desk and ask for them oh and no complimentary breakfast either. Then next morning hubby takes a shower and guess what no soap and no towels so back to the desk. Sheets were clean but room pretty rough stains on furniture and carpet. Carpet In corridors is very stained. This is the first and likely last time we will stay at a Sonesta property. Which is sad as this one is located very close to the event we were attending.

This hotel ia not smoke free. Evey second someone in next room or rooms around your room is smoking cigarette, if you have any breathing problem don’t book here. It’s been two hours I am trying to sleep and smelling of cigarette doesn’t let me. This hotel is not bad just for when you like to go out and come back for sleeping and nothing more than that. I took a shower yesterday and both shampoo and conditioner was empty, the water pressure is so low in the room. I have to be honest the sheets are cleaned however I won’t book here for the second time

Positive: It was clean and the room and lobby were nice Negative: Staff were not easy to find at the front desk. I tried to check in around 8 pm and there wasn't a soul to be found. About 30 minutes later someone showed up.

This place is filthy. The employees are okay. Some nice and helpful, some indifferent. The entire property is run down and dirty. The room we had was filthy. There was a water leak in the bathroom. We told management about it and the maintenance guy checked it out. It kept leaking the whole time we stayed there. No idea where it was coming from. The carpets were filthy and stained. The furniture was filthy and stained. I was scared to sit on the couch. Everything was worn, dented and chipped. There was dog poop all around the outside, especially in the grassy area in the back. There were supposedly three luggage carts, but when it was time to check out there were none available. I asked the clerk and they just shrugged. I guess people take them into their rooms and keep them. I would recom
