Dispersed camping, a phenomenal view of the Wind River mountain range. If you’re looking for a spiritual experience, the solitude here is what you’ll seek. Stars are beautiful! In late July, there are a ton of lightening storms and intense winds.
Free dispersed camping. There is a very clean toilet with toilet paper inside, benches with tables and fire pits. Road to go there is very well maintained. You can hear wolves howling at night.
Best trout fishing I've ever had. Caught a 3 1/2 lb brook trout!
Ultra basic free campground. FCFS. Sites are far enough apart so you can have your peace. Bathrooms are clean. Bring enough water and food. Water is calm. So much better than the dry tent camping in the town which you must pay. Worth venturing out on your bike tour.
Beautiful place to kayak around.
