Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites

No bed bugs! Pool was filthy though. 2/2026. The only place that had availability with an "indoor pool"...we didn't read reviews of other people mentioning bed bugs and hot water issues -- we checked mattress and headboard, all bedding, we even did iron test, no bed bugs found. Mattress looked new. We didn't see any bugs at all. Water was hot. PROs: for $67, clean room, the bed was comfy, the location great, breakfast decent, no nasty smells other reviews mentioned. Front desk people and guests we met were pleasant. CONs: the pool isn't indoor, its technically not outdoor, it is detached with a greenhouse over it. We walked in and it smelled strongly of cigarettes was foggy it was so smoky (no-smoking signs everywhere so people broke rules). The hot tub and pool looked nasty. Maybe in summ

Close /convenient to town. Safe area. Rooms clean. Bed comfortable. Lotion/shampoo/conditioner was lemon infused and I’m allergic 😕. Found a few ants on day 3. Breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular. Yogurt, muffins, bagels, cereal, toast. Coffee available 24 hrs a day but not always hot. No microwave in the room. We had a bowling team (apparently) staying above us. Never had so much noise in a hotel before. Overall it was good.

Positive: hotel employee is wonderful and so helpful and kind. Negative: Mattresses could use replacing. Not very comfortable.

TERRIBLE! Smells horrible, no blankets on bed and sheets smelt like BO and dirty cologne. I wondered if I was in an “hourly” hotel after the noises heard. What a terrible experience and the supervisor was extremely rude on the phone when explaining my citation. Go elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

First time in Cherokee NC and it was very nice! The hotel location was amazing. The casino was even better. The hotel was nothing like the pictures online. The rooms were dingy and need to be upgraded. When we got there and paid for the room we then found out the pool was out of service. It’s advertised as being an indoor pool however it’s not. It’s in a sunroom however we would have had to go outdoors to get to it. Most importantly, they have bed bugs. I woke up Sunday morning with a bed bug on me. I was so disgusted! I went to the front desk and the guy was nonchalant about it. We left that same day. I’ve called to speak with the manager Pamela on Sunday and Monday. I was told she was working at another location and would call me. Then I was told she wasnt feeling well but would call me.
