Smoky Mountain Chalet Rentals

When we arrived at JT's jungle chalet, we were instantly disappointed because of the strong smell of mold. Then, we noticed the entire place was filthy as if it had not been cleaned in a while. There were bugs in the windows, window seals were dusty and had cobwebs, the entire bathroom was dirty and had mold in shower, and the floor was dirty, the kitchen had blood on top of the dryer, and it was dusty and dirty all over the entire house. The deck railing was not very sturdy, and we felt it was not safe to lean on. Their security is lacking. They had a cheap lock on the patio door which anyone could easily get in. We recently stayed in the cabin “Serenity” and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, and the staff were so helpful (I had to email them a few times and they were always so quick to respond). We will definitely be booking this place again in the future. The views from this specific cabin were amazing also. 10/10 recommend!

This is our first stay with Smokey Mountain Chalet rentals. We stayed at Honey Suckle at Gatlinburg. I am rating this in comparison to your competition, Black Bear Falls. This place is in ill repair. I know this is a pet friendly unit, in this context I will be less critical, however it really does not look like any repairs have been done in a while. The wood floors are scratched and have dents in them. The kitchen table is all scratched. The most disappointing is the hot tub. It has a small leak and the deck is wet all around it. That in itself made us leery but when I opened the top, the water smelled musty/moldy? I recommend the owners replace the tub and check the supporting wood under it. The bottom line is, for a comparable price as other units we have stayed in the place is disappoi

My husband and I just got back from an amazing stay at Mystic! We loved the cabin's location and cleanliness. The pool table, fireplace, and hot tub were excellent amenities! The views from the back porch were breathtaking at all hours of the day! We had a truly wonderful time and cannot wait to come back!!!

Check in was easy and the cabin was so cozy. Secluded, had all the essentials, amazing view and peace and quiet, close to town and hikes, hot tub was great. Felt right at home.
