Smokey Bottom Resort

Great place! Everywhere was clean and well kept. I was very impressed with the bathrooms- spacious shower stalls with a large bench to put your stuff plus HOT water! They have a nice river area to swim in that was a short walk from the spots with water hookups (the electric only and primitive sites are very close/along the river). At the office there is a small store with some camping essentials, snacks, firewood, and bags of ice. Excited to come back again!

This is one of my most favorite campsites on earth. The new owners are amazing, clean, kind, and help all campers have a clean and positive experience. I have been going to this campsite for almost 30 years and it is so good to have it back. I enjoy the nature this site provides and I even love the lack of cell phone signal this area of south MO provides. It is absolutely peaceful. If you love nature, water, and the outdoors, & floating in to your campsite- this is hands down my favorite and inly pic.

My family and I camped in our trailer (wth others in tents) at this clean, well-groomed campground. We felt safe, comfortable, staff was responsive, and the 4th of July fireworks show put on by the campground was spectacular. The signs directing you off the main roads to the campground leave a lot to be desired. Make sure you get call one of the other close by campgrounds to find out whose next to what so you can follow their signs if there are none for Hohumm.||||Overall, great stay. better than other campgrounds in the area.

Amazing Campground. The owners run a VERY clean and family friendly place. (Which can be hard to find around here!) They also have great priced camping and floating. Brandi, Memphis and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming to all people. The bus drivers are great too, they drive safely on the narrow gravel road! Would 100% spend all summer here if I could!

Great time. Smokey Bottom is a quiet, clean place to camp and swim. Your float takes you right to your campsite. Friendly staff, and clean equipment. Come and make your family memories at Smokey Bottom. ❤️
