We moved to SLS after our stay at another hotel didn't work out. Do not let the tacky lobby deter you, and yes the lobby decoration is tacky and ugly. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. There was ample room to put all our luggage with an oval dining table and couch. The beds were double, not queen, but it was sufficient. Housekeeping came everyday and service was really good and friendly. Bathroom was spacious, but I don't get the design. I am not sure why the bathroom was designed as such that the water comes out even with the curtains. Having said that, there was ample room and shelving to keep everything. The bathroom had one door that could open into the bedroom. I don't understand why hotels can't have locks on bathroom doors. Unlocked bathrooms just aren't practical. We were very

The water got clogged in our room under the shower. They do have a bidet though, which is nice. There’s no fridge or microwave in the room (we had some hoppers given to us by a relative staying in LA, we were just passing through LA, and wanted to keep the food in the fridge/warm it up), or at least we couldn’t find them in the room. $75 for valet parking, which I think is overpriced but there’s no nearby overnight parking — must be why it’s expensive.

Time by time SLS disappointed! Stayed from August 6–24, extending multiple times and spending generously at the pool and restaurants. Housekeeping and pool staff are excellent, but reception is unprofessional, rude, and repeatedly locked me out of my room. Even basic courtesy was denied—like refusing me access to the lobby restroom while allowing others. For a hotel of this level, management is clearly failing. SLS needs new leadership.

Truly Exceptional I stayed at SLS Beverly Hills during a very scary and uncertain time in my life while dealing with cancer and medical visits at Cedars-Sinai. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience was transformed into something comforting, luxurious, and genuinely uplifting because of this hotel and its incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, the valet, front desk, and everyone at The Nook treated me with such kindness, professionalism, and warmth. Every interaction felt sincere, thoughtful, and above-and-beyond. It wasn’t just a stay — it felt like being taken care of. The property itself is beautiful, but what truly stood out was the people. They made me feel safe, relaxed, and even a little glamorous during a time when I really needed that. I’m genuinely sad

I stayed at this hotel for a few days and the experience was truly pleasant. The property is very charming and well cared for; one evening there was even a DJ on the terrace, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, beautifully scented and well furnished, with a very comfortable bed and a large TV. Overall, I found it welcoming and well maintained. I also really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the city center — punctual, convenient and perfect for moving around without stress. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. Overall, a very positive experience and a hotel I would gladly recommend.
