Customer Reviews
I like the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The hot air heat is very drying but that is to be expected. Your maids are exceptional. It's not many places where the maids actually like what they do. But, it shows in how clean the rooms are. I didn't give you a10 because of the breakfast. Most places I stay at put items away when breakfast is over. Not so are your hotel. For 2 days, there was a sign that breakfast extended to 9:30, 10:30 on weekends. On Sunday, I arrived at 9:55. The eggs and sausage were gone and the trash bag was sitting atop the chair. Things were packed up 5 minutes early on Friday as well. Your breakfast lady really seems to resent people coming into the area. This is not my first weekend at the hotel and she has yet to break a smile.
Staff was courteous and they were able to accommodate me staying an extra day due to the snowstorm. I spent a lot of time in my room because unfortunately I ended up sick the last 2 days of my stay. Breakfast was great. Overall, I have no complaints, aside from the pool and hot tub being kind of grimy - it could definitely use a good clean. Also, my room phone rang a total of 3 times with a dial tone when I picked up. The front desk didn't know what the reason was but said it was widespread - just sucks it rang while I was trying to sleep each time.
This is my second stay this fall. It is a very well situated and clean hotel; a very good value. I also like how friendliest of most of the staff. Maids Crystal and Sam are a delight to talk with. The receptionists are very friendly. This pantry lady is a complete opposite. Not only does look miserable and act nasty, but she has a problem with time. On Friday the sign said breakfast until 9:30, 10:30 on weekends. When I arrived at 9:15, she said 10 minutes to go for breakfast. I made 2 waffles to take upstairs. Sure enough, at 9:25 the plates were gone. On Saturday, the sign was gone, the eggs were gone and the trash was out on the chairs before 10. Just know breakfast ends on her schedule, not what is posted.
Our room was decent. Can't speak to service, as we didn't receive any due to the length of our stay.. What i can comment on is the professionalism. There were signs everywhere stating theres to be no use of breakfast area or common areas after 10. We were there for a volleyball tournament. 3 nights we got back and there were 10 -12 people in the breakfast room every night after 10, to which I really dont care that much about. What I did care about was the unmistakable odor of pot smoking coming from the room. Workers were at the desk just ignoring it. Won't stay there again
My son and I stayed at Sleep Inn & Suites during a weekend we went to a concert in Manheim. The hotel was quiet and staff were really friendly. Especially a lovely lady who helped with breakfast each morning. She always made sure you had everything you needed. My son used the pool and though it was a little cold, he had fun. While there, the hotel was undergoing a renovation, but there was no noise, and it didn't interfere with our stay.
