Sleep Inn & Suites Bay View Acme - Traverse City

I would like to say how awesome the whole staff is. Extremely nice and friendly staff. They take care of you with care and respect. I paid for over 74nights without any issues. If there was on they were ontop of it. Super clean rooms and facilities. Now Steven in the breakfast room is a godsend. This worker goes way above and beyond for the guests and the hotel. The food is always fresh, hot and full. Steven is what will brighten your day at its very start. Keep up the amazing work Steven. You sir are an asset to the company by far. 100% recommend this hotel. Thank me later

We’ve stayed here many times because we have family in the area. Sometimes, what a hotel does when there’s a change in plans is incredibly important. We booked a stay for this coming October (2025) and just needed to cancel because the family member needed to be moved that planned weekend of our trip into memory care in a different city. Sleep Inn waived our cancellation fee - which means the world in this particular situation. Many places may have just said tough luck. This will remain our first choice for lodging whenever we visit family in the area.

It was inviting, clean, comfortable and quiet. We both used the sitting areas. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the shower. I liked the shower, but the shower door was not very good at keeping the floor dry, and there was some mold where the shower was caulked to the floor. We may have gotten a reduced season price, but I have paid more and gotten less. This was our first stay at a Sleep Inn. I will definitely consider it again in the future.

The hot tub was closed, and the pool was cold. The HVAC unit was ok we either were hot or cold but eventually got it figured out. We thought it didn't work at first. We are familiar with them which was the confusing/strange part. The breakfast was nice. I thought the food and coffee were good. I believe it was Steven from behind the breakfast counter that also impressed me. He worked quickly and diligently and was very polite to everyone. The breakfast, coffee and tea choices were plentiful. The rooms were clean and everything was working. The bathroom faucet spout was a little short or set far back but that wasn't a big deal. The TV was a great size and having some cable helped keep the kids entertained and wind down for bed.

Stayed here for work. Front desk was friendly. Bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the 24 hour hot tub and pool. Overall good stay.
