Sleep Inn Grand Island North

Great location, lots of shops and food places within a couple minutes drive. The room was quiet and clean. There are some negatives, Air conditioner chugs loudly. The exhaust fan in the bathroom has a fierce growling noise after a minute or two. The lounge chair is super uncomfortable with a board running across the front that digs into the legs. The desk chair had an ugly looking stain. The mattress is past firm to the hard side. No conditioner in the conditioner bottle. The slider bathroom door does not latch without lots of tinkering. The establishment has a back door that is often propped open, so security is basically nonexistent. The smoking area is so close to the back door that much of the smoke/smell goes into the building via the propped open door. There is a free breakfast and i

We have stayed many time at Sleep Inn and have had no issues. Associates are always very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and nice. Will plan on staying the next time we are in town.

Austin earned my 5 star review of this establishment. He was informative, kind, and knowledgeable. I enjoyed talking with him before we booked and during our stay. The pool was very cold for young kids. My daughter insisted on going in so I had to as well and it was quite unpleasant. I would’ve gladly paid a little more for a pool that was able to be swam in. For the price this was a good deal and had great employees - so I did still give 5 stars but again it’s because of the employees. I saw LuLu working hard with breakfast and someone cleaning the yard dog waste and leaves in our one night stay. Owner should consider putting the hot tub back and heating the pool to a temperature suitable for kids (who are the ones that want to swim)

Someone tried to come into our room around 3:25am and attempted to do so twice, our door was locked from the inside so we know someone with a key was trying to get in, had we not put up the second metal “lock” they gave us. Not recommended for two women traveling.

Positive: The room was very nice, the hotel organized Negative: we choose it for the pool, and the pool was not available for maintenace. some note needs to be made advising people so they don't pick a place for a feature unavailable. That was our deciding factor for this trip and we were disappointed
