Skylark Shores Resort in Lakeport

Positive: It was clean and the staff was very friendly Negative: The electrical was insufficient to meet my needs. There were not enough outlets. I almost went to office to ask for extension cord but managed to move things around.

This is such a nice spot. I was visiting Lakeport for work and it was nice to stay somewhere I could go down by the water after work. Rooms are a little basic but they were clean and it good repair. Staff was very friendly. It's also walking distance to some good bars and restaurants.

Hella comfy beds and really close to the water with great views. Close to food and gas. Stayed in pet friendly motel style room but did have quiet hours due to shared walls and joined rooms. Im sure it would be awesome to get two rooms and open the joining door or enjoy the kitchenettes that are solo. Overall great getaway any time of year.

Fantastic location with beautiful lake views and friendly office staff. I am a repeat guest and always enjoy my visits here. Good value and lots of easy parking, walking distance to restaurants.

Stay Dates: 11/28–11/30/2025 I recently stayed at the Skylark Resort in Lakeport, and overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The location right on Clear Lake is beautiful — the views alone make the stay worth it. The property has a peaceful, laid-back vibe, and it’s easy to unwind whether you’re by the water, enjoying the pool, or simply taking in the scenery. Since it was winter during my visit, I wasn’t able to use the pool, but I can imagine how great it would be during the warmer months. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.
