Skowhegan / Kennebec Valley KOA Journey

Very nice CG and very nice people in the office. A gentleman from the office led us out to our site. He decided that another site would allow us to turn a corner more easily, so he moved us to an adjoining site. Great store. Bathrooms very clean. Showers were separate from the bathrooms, and they were also very clean. The pool was great – very clean and lots of umbrellas for shade. Nice laundry room. Dog park, playground. Cabins, a few tenting sites and mostly big rigs. Strong WIFI! Campers friendly and very quiet. We enjoyed it and would recommend.

This is a wonderful little campground, the cabin was clean and stocked with essentials. The campground was clean and well maintained. We needed a central location to be able to visit both Moosehead Lake in the North and Acadia in the South and this was perfect!!

Husband and I came for a Two week stay last year and stayed for eight! We came back this year we loved it so much. Very relaxing atmosphere . Campground has a lot of amenities. A huge well stocked camp store , a Cafe, laundry room, game room, playground with jump pad, los of special things arts and crafts for kids and a beautiful refreshing pool. If that’s not enough they are centrally located to stores, restaurants, lakes, waterfalls , hiking , kayaking, fishing and more! The owners are awesome as are the workers. Bathrooms and showers very clean. Sites are well kept and are dog friendly.

This campground is AMAZING! They're kind of off the beaten path, but yet centered around so much! There's a lake just about 2 miles down the road, about an hour or so from "Moose" attractions, and anything you'd want to do is a nice day trip away. (most "attractions" are under 2 hours.) They have super clean cabins and a very well maintained grounds. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Always someone around to help. Great for kids too! They have a nice, clean pool area, a playground and weekend activities for young and old. A definite must to stay in Maine !!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The Owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand if we needed help with setting up our camper. The sites are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the themed weekends, which had a variety of things for both children and adults. We have camped here for the past 4 years and we will definetly be coming back again next year.
