Skegge Retreat

Jared was a fantastic host! The place was immaculate upon arrival and had everything our big group needed for the weekend. The hot tub was perfect during the cold weather. Also, I left my Kindle behind after checkout and as a long shot, I messaged Jared to see if it was found at the house. Not only was it found but he coordinated a drop off back in Seattle with his parents who had stayed in the property after my group had left. Above expectations, for sure. Would definitely stay here again!!

The Skegge Retreat, the double a-frame cabin in Ronald, Wa is simply amazing! We enjoyed every minute of our large group stay. We loved the contemporary / Scandinavian design, all the fun games, and especially the spa experience! The mountain setting in the woods was sooo relaxing we could truly “unplug” for the long weekend. Easily our best Airbnb experience and, for sure, was 10 stars! Jared was a great host and responded quickly to any questions.

We have been to many Airbnb around the world, but this is the first ever home/spa/retreat I will definitely revisit! Two A-frames connected by a Wellness Center, gorgeous mountain scenery, activities galore, and all 5 families so happy to be enjoying it together with ample public spaces as well as quiet private spots for personal meditating. Fantastic layout that works so well for groups. Would be awesome for a corporate retreat - or yoga on the pickleball court! Furnishings were super comfortable - so many King beds! Kitchen was very well stocked. A filtered and chilled water dispenser!! The best spot to sleep is in the Bird’s Nest, 3rd level loft with a bed that has a view of the stars! Truly Amazing! Wow I’m recharged! Thanks Skegge for having everything for our young family. Even got to teach my oldest daughter how to play PacMan in the game room! I was impressed with the Sauna- it gets super hot and that was only upped by an Epic Cold Plunge. I slept super well. The 3 girls loved the hot tub. You could even see deer from it! 🤩 Our youngest is 4 and we love the idea of being in the car for less than 2 hours to totally get away from Seattle. It was nice to be able to get to a grocery store in 10 minutes too. Top notch place with a real Espresso ☕️ machine.. Yay Skegge!

We stayed here with our family (2 adults, 3 kids) and my sister’s (2 adults, 1 kid), and it was an awesome experience. The house is super well-designed - every detail was clearly thought through. The kids loved the arcade games, pool table, and huge TV, and the adults enjoyed the spa, sauna, cold plunge, and BBQ area. There were even massage tables (we didn't use them, but still cool to have)! Plus, the EV charger worked great with my Ioniq 5. One of the coolest features was the private pickleball court - we had a fun little family tournament! Evenings by the fire were the perfect way to end each day. The house is really spacious, and after just a few days, it felt like home. Definitely recommend!
