Six Bells Countryside Inn and The Feathers Tavern

Food was great! The customer service was even better! My friend had made reservations for us to celebrate Galentine’s Day this past Sunday. Though we had to wait a few minutes to be seated, Devina was such a delight. She gave us the most precious match books that I’ve ever seen, and explained the story behind the beautiful mural on the ceiling in the lounge area. When it was time to be seated I felt like I was stepping into another world, the tavern was beautiful. We dined in the back room, which was also nicely decorated. Our server Kiley made us feel so at home, and she was very attentive. With top tier customer service, and delicious food, you can’t go wrong. Us girls can’t wait to return during the warmer months, so we can eat out on the deck.

The inn is straight right out of Gilmore Girls, and while Rosendale isn't quite Stars Hollow--at least on a winter weeknight--its Main Street has potential. Went with a friend for one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Our spotless third floor corner room had a comfortable seating area, private bath, plush robes, and cozy bedding for a cold December night. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the charming public areas were nicely decorated for the holidays, with festive music playing. We ate a delicious dinner in the dining room complete with creative cocktails. The complimentary continental breakfast had lots of choices, including freshly-baked scones that scented the whole place. We had such a wonderful experience at The Feather, a restaurant located in the Six Bells Inn in Rosendale, NY.
