Sitzmark Ski Hill

This is such a cool ski location in the middle of no where. It’s old school and not fancy but totally worth the trip. Located in the Okanogan farmland, Sitzmark is the perfect place to lean how to ski.

Friendly staff, easy rentals, reasonable prices. A rope tow for beginners and tubing for non skiiers. Lift lines are very short and the lodge has reasonably priced food and a warm fire. Bathrooms are rustic! Very different experience than a large commercial ski hill, but a great way to spend time with family and friends while skiing or tubing.

Took my granddaughter so she could learn. Rented her and me boots and ski equipment, paying for rope tow tickets spending time with her on side stepping, how to get up when falling doing all the beginning steps for about an hour. We worked our way to the rope tow. She started out fell once and was told until she took lessons she should not be there. I have skied for 20 years at so many ski areas in the US and Canada never have I been or seen a tow operator treat a beginner like this. I hope this is no the normal treatment for new skiers

Really fun little ski hill with skiing for all levels and cross country trails.

I grew up skiing at Sitzmark. It's got everything the big resorts have except lines, too many runs, and flushing toilets. But it's fun and home and everyone's family. How could you find a better place to kick back, enjoy some snow sports, and take a load off?
