Red Apple Inn

This place is in the perfect location for a layover night. We got there super late and called the number on the office door and a very nice gentleman was there within 5 mins to check us in. Now dont get me wrong, its an older hotel that could use some updates but this place is great. I would bring my own towel in though.

Went from 7-10 to the rodeo with my gf and rooms were visibly stained from the carpets and blankets to the walls, their were bugs crawling out from under the bed and flying around and I woke up screaming in the middle of the night with bugs on me and drive 7 hours home I genuinely hope this place gets a thorough cleaning before anyone stays in any rooms of the red apple motel ever again.

Bad smelling dirty rooms. Whole family had to deal with disgusting bed bugs across 2 different rooms and owner claimed to not know they were in the rooms and denied us a refund. Several of my family members were bitten including me, but my step dad who was allergic to them is covered in welts across his entire body. We have all had to throw away hundreds of dollars of bedding, purses, back packs, and more. Overall unhappy with the experience hope someone does something about that.

What I liked - Price - hard to beat. Amenities that surprised me given the budget price. Examples, ample free parking, soap, shampoo, microwave, refrigerator, in room coffee maker, WIFI and TV with desired news channels. The room I stayed in was very well furnished with 3 chairs. Tonasket is a very small town in north central Washington just 20 miles from the Canadian Border. Amazingly, there are 2 motels in town. I've stayed at both in the last 2 months and prefer this one. I found the Red Apple to be clean and safe. Proprietor was helpful in providing local food options.|What could be better - pillows, bedding, linen - were adequate though exhibited signs of age and wear.

A good value...slept well on comfortable bed. Room needs a bit of minor work...paint work in bathroom, lamp switch needs nob. One bed had some cigarette burns...best to recycle;/ Owner is a kick...reminds me of military buddies from New York...a part of the Red Apple experience.
