Sioux City North KOA Holiday

The staff was friendly and helpful, laundry facility was small but nice and clean. This should be a journey not a holiday. It's fine for a layover but the playground and dog park leave much to be desired. This isn't really a place where you'd want to vacation and the prices are a bit high.

The refrigerator in the largest cabin was not working and our food got spoiled. We realized it the next morning after we arrived. I asked for a bag of ice and did get a refund for that after manager approval but nothing to cover the food spoiled. A weekend worker did find us a different small refrigerator. That was nice. I also asked her to clean 2 of the window air condioners. Both had filthy vents. There was black mold on the ceiling above the beds in the loft and you must bring firewood from a certified store or buy from them. The neighboring lots are very close and the sound is easily heard inside with everything shut.

Everything was great except for the bathroom. We appreciated the security to get in and out. The sites were nice and level. I would have given 5 stars but the shower wall had mold and mildew on the wall and the shower curtain was too flimsy to contain any water. Overall, the campground is nice and a convenient location off the highway.

We loved our stay at this KOA! Everyone was very helpful and professional! Damian was extra helpful and made sure we had a wonderful stay here. We also needed to have our air suspension worked on and our mobile mechanic, Doug came right to our site to fix it. What an amazing place! Thank you for a really great experience!

Nice campground and friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction and new housing developments being built all around the campground, but the campground is surprisingly quiet. Has all the amenities and you would need for a quick night stay.
