Silver Sage Inn

DO NOT BOOK HERE! THEY ARE CLOSED...... I really liked to stay at this place. The rooms were really clean and cozy, it used to be really nice. We would book our room and at the time of check in we would get a text message about our room number and key code. It was nice to not have to a do the front office hassle. And they had a good reasonable price per night and the pet fee wasnt outrageous. However we booked to stay there this past weekend and when we showed up no one was there, we didn't receive our room information and was unable to contact anyone. After waiting a while we noticed a sign on the door that said power is going to be shut off due to non-payment. Not what we expected! Very old, unkempt, basic lodging. We only slept there, but it was loud at night, and the bathroom was abysmal. The towels were stained, and one of the light bulbs didn't work. The hall floor was cracked. It's okay if you need a bed, but otherwise, find a different place! Definitely overpriced for what is provided.

Pleasantly surprised by this little Moab gem! The Silver Sage Inn isn’t a 5-star resort — but I absolutely had a 5-star stay! It’s a classic roadside motel I might’ve normally overlooked, but I was so impressed. The room was clean, the beds were soft, and check-in was super easy (they texted us our info — so convenient!). It has ample space for clothes. Mini fridge and microwave. Yes, it’s a little older and you can hear some noise through the walls, but the back rooms have beautiful views and the location can’t be beat. Everything in Moab is close by. A family member recommended we stay here, and I’m so glad we did. I’ll definitely stay again!

Views of a mountain, best pricing in Moab, and a clean room, what more can you want? Management was very responsive when we needed towels or coffee pods, and they even left some packets of oatmeal out in the lobby if you wanted to have a breakfast in your room. Ice machine available 24/7, and wifi worked perfectly.

Please do not stay here. We booked online, and they had no record of our reservation. When they finally found it, they told us that we could check in at 3:00, and they would send us a text with a code to our room. We got a text at 4, saying our room was ready and room service would be done shortly. “Shortly” apparently means an hour and a half, because that’s when our room was actually ready.
