Silent Sport Lodge River Cabin

Just spent 4 days with Rhonda and John in their beautiful 'log cabin' in the woods. Their home has 4 spacious rooms upstairs and 4 downstairs plus gathering places inside and out. The setting is breathtaking with flowers, trees and trails to further explore the area. Each morning began with coffee and a delicious breakfast. Rhonda is a master gardener who makes her own jams and jelly, which she serves with breakfast. John can do anything he sets his mind to, including making his own maple syrup, again part of breakfast. Their knowledge and suggestions of what to see and most scenic drives enhanced our stay tremendously. We left with wonderful memories and 2 new friends. Wholeheartedly recommend Silent Sport Lodge B&B.

My wife Amie and I have been coming to Wolverine for about 13 years. This is our first time staying at Silent Sport Lodge. This was an awesome experience. The cabin is beautiful and you will sleep like a baby. The host and hostess were so nice we had a blast sitting and talking with them, very normal down to earth people. The guests that were there, feels like we known them forever great conversations. The food was amazing, imagine you wake up early like my wife and I and we decided to take a drive before breakfast. We noticed Rhonda out in woods picking fresh morale mushrooms for breakfast. WOW!! I highly recommend this place. Go see Rhonda and big John, tell them Amie and Matt say hi.

This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I truly loved it! The place was beautiful and immaculate. So clean you could eat off the floor if you wanted to yet still felt incredibly comfortable and home like. Every inch of the decoration was carefully put together to give you the log cabin experience. Beautiful furniture, decor and style. The hostess and host were so very nice and accommodating. We had traveled 14 hours and had gotten in late but they were welcoming even at 10pm. Showed us to our rooms and told us when breakfast was and we went right to sleep. Woke up to the amazing smell of food cooking, had a terrific home made breakfast both mornings, and met some other very nice guests. The food was healthy, wholesome, filling and tasted great! Proprietors John and Rhonda have built a stunning home and property. The room was comfortable and quiet. And breakfast was lovely: good food and friendly, engaging guests. The frog pond and short walk down to the river offer easy access to child-friendly outdoors. We did not have cell signal (Verizon) throughout the Wolverine area, but the B&B had fast WiFi. |[Note: the property and home are for sale - it currently serves as a B&B but would make a gorgeous family home/vacation property with its many en-suite bedrooms, open kitchen and breakfast room, and incredible riverfront grounds and gardens.]

We were greeted by hosts Rhonda and John who showed us to our charming room. From our window we could see the Sturgeon River flowing by. Paths for hikes abound and a breakfast of pumpkin pancakes with apple cider syrup was truly delightful. This wonderful b & b is located on thirty acres of woods with hiking paths throughout. Everything about it is comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely return to this one!
