This is a beautiful little campground. We had three trailers in here and still had plenty of room. The trees provide great shade. It is close to the freeway, but the running creek drowns out the noise. Fun place to camp. No amenities. Just a fire pit and nature.
Great place by a creek that runs year round. Grassy with beautiful trees and wildlife. Very quiet and lots of places to hike. My favorite stopover when going through this area.
This is a free primative camp. Nice views-cold creek with rattlesnakes & cows.
This might be a great place if you have a tiny 4x4 vehicle, but don't even think of trying to get to this or it's sister campground further south in an RV. After having to back up a good distance to turn around after we crossed under the I-70, we ended up camping in the middle of a field at one of two small pull-offs as soon as you leave the pavement.
Rough camping site near a creek. It was a beautiful area and easy to drive a car up to. No amenities, but worked for overnight place to sleep.
