Sheraton Lisle Naperville Hotel

We stayed in room 307 and the sound insulation is extremely poor. The walls are so thin that we could clearly hear the guests in the next room talking for hours, as well as constant street noise from passing cars throughout the night.||I called the front desk three separate times and spoke with a staff member named Amy. When she contacted the neighboring room, I could actually hear their phone ringing through the wall, which shows how inadequate the soundproofing is. Despite this, the noise continued, and the guests did not quiet down even at 1:42 am.||As a result, I did not get any meaningful sleep until around 3 am. If you are sensitive to noise or expecting a restful night, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel unless you are placed in a much quieter area of the property.||Same story

This hotel is clean and perfectly serviceable, but it’s definitely showing its age. Everything works, the room was tidy, and housekeeping did their job but the entire place feels tired and overdue for a facelift. Worn furniture, dated décor, and little signs of wear everywhere make it feel stuck in another decade. It’s fine if you just need a place to sleep and don’t mind outdated surroundings, but with some renovations this could be much better than it currently is. Want it snarkier, softer, or more complimentary to balance it out?

Positive: Location. Room was nice. Negative: Bar closed on Sunday of a 3 day holiday weekend . The room we booked (king bed) was not available. They gave us a queen right next to elevator. No fridge or microwave.

Outdated hotel in dire need of a face lift, in an okay location, with great service and staff. Shout-out’s to awesome staff to include Jackie and Victoria at the front desk, and Laura in the lounge. Very pleasant, hospitable, welcoming, and helpful. They made sure we were taken care of. The rooms were decent size, thick walls so you didn’t hear so much noise (which was great as it was our puppy’s first hotel stay). However, the shower was very disappointing. You had to figure out and do a secret handshake with the shower hardware to get any hot water… and then it would go ice cold after a minute or two and you would have to do the dance and figure out the secret handshake again. I stayed at this hotel with my husband and daughter for a "stay-to-play" hockey tournament. If you don't know what that is, it's where the tournament organization requires all participating teams/players/coaches to stay at authorized hotels where the rates are inflated for the stay-to-play participants (you know - for the kick backs). Anyway, Our daughter's team had to stay here. We arrived late Thursday evening to learn that the hotel policy (due to previous damage) prohibits hockey sticks in the rooms. After several years of traveling for hockey, this is the first we've encountered a policy like this, at a hotel that is voluntarily participating in the stay-to-play racket none the less. They upcharge rooms for hockey teams with expensive equipment and tell us to leave it in our vehicles
