Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

Wins:|-close to the airport! Super easy shuttle system, too. |-big rooms - very spacious and clean. ||Food options were fine - overpriced breakfasts but good service. Starbucks style cafe on site. Building as a whole was a bit tired - but nice to have the pool. ||Parking situation was a little odd - they offer in and out privilege only in valet and not in self parking ( $50 vs. $35) - so its worth evaluating how often you would be driving and if one is more logical than the other from a cost perspective. I've only done self parking by the airport and always had in and out options at other locations so this felt a little nickel and dime like. ||We rented a meeting space which had some tech issues, but all ended up working out. Westin down the road or the Marriott were a bit more appealing

Positive: Shuttle was easy to catch. Negative: Dining room service was horrible. $42 for a buffet! We chose to order off the menu. Still outrageous prices. Waiter kept saying he would be right back. 15 .minutes later he came for our order. Never again. Back to the Hilton.

This hotel is a stone throw away from the airport off Century Blvd. Great location, good rooms and great staff. Parking is a bit of a walk for self park which was my only true complaint and is approximately $24 a night to park and $9 every 15 mins which makes it a little inconvenient going in and out with car. Good shuttle service, restaurant and bar onsite and staff very nice. Rooms clean and remodeled to a more modern feel and very comfortable. Great views of the airport.

Spent one night. Clean , updated room . Good size bathroom, shower stall and double sink. Comfortable King size. Coffee by cup / Starbucks. Friendly reception at check in. Marriott Bonvoy accepted. Coffee shop features Starbucks off lobby had enough breakfast choices for takeout or sit in. Very convenient to airport. Free shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Would stay here again.

The Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel near LAX Airport was an awesome place to stay. The hotel is very big and feels spacious, which is great for a hotel near the airport. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was super convenient and a nice bonus. The outdoor area with the pool was really nice and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The rooms were great, clean, and comfortable. We had a room with an airport view, and it was actually really cool to watch the planes, which made the stay even better. Overall, this is a very good hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. We’re coming back as soon as we land the next time we visit LA!
