Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel

Positive: "" Negative: This hotel was under massive construction. I was put on a floor where half the floor was under demolition. To get to the elevator I had to walk by people carrying bathtubs and mirrors. The carpet was pulled up and it was like being in a dust storm.

We had our 40th Anniversary event with 39 people at the Sheraton Agoura Hills. It went off without a hitch, largely due to the Sheraton staff (shout out to Maddie in Sales who oversaw the whole thing). |The event:|39 people, including my wife and I. 5 tables in the foyer (had outside view - very cheerful). We did the breakfast buffet and omelet bar. Event was between 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM on a Sunday. A chef made the omelet's to order and there were two other staff on hand to meet the guests needs. The Sheraton Agoura Hills was a fantastic hotel for our wedding weekend. It was conveniently located next to our venue, and all of our guests enjoyed their stay. We hosted our rehearsal dinner there and also loved having breakfast at the hotel, and everything went smoothly. The staff was kind and accommodating, the food was good, and the bar was a fun place for guests to gather after the wedding. They worked with us on our room block and budget, and while we did need to remind them about some dietary needs like vegan, pescatarian, and kids’ meals, everything was handled and our guests were happy. It was a great home base for our wedding weekend.

I had a fantastic stay here and honestly believe most of the negative reviews must be based on the older, unrenovated rooms. If you get one of the newly renovated rooms like I did, you are in for a treat. The space was so tastefully decorated and felt completely modern, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and a bathroom that looked absolutely fantastic. They even provide complimentary water in the room, which is a nice touch you don’t always see anymore. ​The location is perfect for anyone traveling since it’s right next to the 101, yet the price remains very reasonable for the area. This is a very nice hotel and has the potential to be 5 star. The location is not an easy walk to anything, but it’s a short drive to many options for food/drink and shopping. They have great beds and very nice rooms, and a neat outdoor space with fire pits, and nice small bar, decent gym, and a basic restaurant for breakfast. They have a pool, but we did not go out to it. The staff is very friendly and they quickly responded to our two issues - AC did not work and after 3 tries we had to change rooms, and the TV kept “glitching” and eventually had to be “reset” as it apparently overheated. So, it was great that they fixed all the issue, but who wants to deal with issues? The manager was sympathetic and also gave us two complementary breakfast buffet coupons - much appreciated!
