Shenandoah Valley Campground LLC

Great lil campground right off I-81. If it weren't RIGHT there they'd get a full star rating. Very friendly staff. Clean campground with bath houses. Cute little store inside the main office.

We stayed here for one night while traveling. This place is excellent if you need a campground for easy on/off of Interstate 81 in Virginia. The campground is very clean, sites are easily accessed. There is a pool and two play areas for kids. There is a mini golf area too. Although we were only there one night it was close enough to Shenandoah National Park that we were able to drive there for a late afternoon hike after checking in. There is a cavern less then a mile away too. Our site was a pull thru and it was quiet. There were some sites closer to the Interstate that may be noisy, so book a pull thru if you are worried about noise. We had full hook ups, and with Good Sam the cost when we stayed was less than $60.00. The people who run it are very nice and I would recommend staying here

This camp is ok. The entire place is very clean - meaning the grounds are well-mowed & tended, the bathhouses & laundry were very clean, and office/store was neat & clean. Laundry rates are also very reasonable ($1.50 for top-loader agitation machine & $1.00 for a home sized dryer). Its in a pretty spot in a very convenient location off the interstate with all modern amenities you need within 15-20 minutes. Rates are reasonable for a private RV park & they gave us a discount. What I didn't like about the park were the sites. They're pretty close together and the back-in sites are very short (about 25'-30' ft). These sites are really only big enough for camper vans & small motor homes. Many of them are very unlevel, as well. The roads & sites are graveled with decent & consistently

Traveling in 30 ft RV. Reservations easy to make, easy access off the highway, easy check-in, pleasant staff, level sites, full hook-up available. We would stay here again. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

Place is definitely in need of some updates. Overall it is a nice campground and we will go again. If you go try to reserve a site closer to the waterfall. That side of the park is much nicer. Waterfall is beautiful and the river is fun to float.
