Sadly, disappointed,, My husband and I spent three nights at Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort (suite 301) during September 2025. It was our wedding anniversary and we were looking forward to staying there. We had booked for four nights but left early knowing that our early departure would unfortunately not include a refund. The excessive noise while in our suite, in addition to the lack of cleanliness of the unit made it a very unpleasant stay. The noise: during our 2nd night stay someone was vacuuming at 7:30 pm from the unit above us and it was so loud we couldn't hear the television. The 3rd night was worse. At 10:41 pm there were loud noises from above. Again, at 12:46 pm this time someone dropped something and then a 2-word expletive. But that's not all. At 2:53 am more noise once a
Wonderful resort with a beautiful view of the Sheepscot River and the town of Wiscasset. Very easy self check-in process. The resort is close to many wonderful things to do and places to eat. The best lobster rolls in Maine are just across the bridge at Red’s and are worth the wait. I can’t wait to come back for another visit.
Stayed in Suite 214 for 3 nights. Booked it sort of last minute in the summer, so was grateful to have a place to stay, but we also didn't spend much time here except to sleep. If you want to hang out and relax at your place, I probably wouldn't recommend this. You could tell the place has not had a deep clean in years - lots of stains on the carpets, typical old hotel smell, towels had stains, no fan in the bathroom so it smelled/felt damp, no curtains on the back patio door (all glass). Did not have any issues hearing neighbors. Area felt safe. Had dinner one night at the restaurant that is on site - poor waitress was running around working alone at the rooftop bar, but food was okay. Location wise, it wasn't as noisy as I expected being close to Route 1. It's an easy drive to get to Bo
We spent three nights (July 8-11) at Sheepscot Harbour Village Resort (Suite 301). We had been excited to stay there after viewing their website and the attractive photos of the suite. But what a surprise when we entered. The rooms are dark and dank, even on sunny days. There is black mold visible across the bathroom ceiling and, one suspects, less visible throughout the apartment. Each time we stepped outside, we found the air fresh and pleasant - no matter the actual weather - compared to the stale, dank interior. |To pay a hotel for the privilege of staying in such quarters is dismaying. The room needs to be renovated, and a new air system installed. Until then, it should not be inhabited as it is a public health hazard.|We tried to contact the owners (sent a detailed e-mail) about our
The resort is clean and quite small. The utilities are very limited and subpar. It was a studio unit. A one bedroom may be better. We only stayed there for 3 nights, so it was OK. But it can be uncomfortable for staying longer than that. The resort also next to the highway and there was a lot of traffics. There is a decorated glass at the door without any blind, the light gets in early morning. The bed is very soft and I felt my husband when he turned around.
